Who we are

A nursery and kindergarten built from scratch, located in the center of Alcabideche, with a group of specialized

technicians dedicated to childhood (educators; teachers: music, gymnastics, English, ballet, judo, yoga; psychologist; nutritionist and medical advice).

It is a space for discovery that prioritizes the cognitive, physical, emotional and social development of children.

The child at Garatuja

Garatuja sees children as unique, respecting their individuality and their development rhythms, providing appropriate stimuli so that this occurs harmoniously.
As they grow, the first function of education is to provide the child with a favorable environment allowing them to freely explore ideas, games and materials.
At Garatuja, children have their first contact with reading and writing through the PHONOMIMIC Method. This method is aimed at all pre-school children, stimulating and optimizing this learning.
